How do I get started using the OneLogin Portal Mobile app?

Answer

OneLogin Portal Mobile App (Android & iOS)

NOTE: You must have already set up and have an active OneLogin account at Carthage, connected to a username and password with 2-factor authentication.

The OneLogin Portal Mobile App allows users to access their organization's shared SSO-enabled applications using a unique PIN or an even more convenient method of facial recognition (rather than the standard 2 factor they've set up). The OneLogin Portal App is available on both Android and iOS and provides another convenient "quick access" method to commonly accessed apps such as Gmail. Get started using the OneLogin Portal today by using the links below or searching "OneLogin Portal App" from your mobile device within your App or Playstore.

iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/onelogin-portal/id1501343911#?platform=iphone

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.onelogin.portal

Prerequisites

You must have already set up and have an active OneLogin account at Carthage, connected to a username and password with 2-factor authentication.

Join your organization (carthage.onelogin.com)

The OneLogin Portal app will ask for your organization's URL. Enter carthage where it says to enter a subdomain. So it should look like this carthage.onelogin.com

Confirm your identity using the multi-factor authorization method you've set up with OneLogin (you can then set up PIN or Facial Recognition Access for this app.

Create passcode/set up biometrics (facial recognition)

Creating a passcode or facial recognition ensures that only you can access your OneLogin Portal on your device. Enter your device passcode within the OneLogin Portal app, then create a unique, OneLogin-specific six-digit passcode to log into OneLogin Portal. OneLogin Portal will use this six-digit code to ensure the person using the Portal app is authorized to do so.

If biometrics are enabled on your device, the OneLogin app can use biometrics like FACE ID as a replacement for your device password/code. See the Settings section.

Settings & Profile (3 horizontal lines at top left)

The Settings page allows users to toggle between List and Grid view for your organization's apps. Users can also enable FaceID and change their OneLogin app password, log out of OneLogin Portal, and review the app's privacy policy.

Tapping Change Passcode will prompt you to enter your current passcode or will use biometrics to verify your identity. You'll then have the opportunity to change your passcode in the same manner as the original passcode creation.

Now...Access your Carthage apps

All the applications that your OneLogin administrator has added to your organization's portal will be accessible via the App page, which defaults to the Grid view. Once you tap on an app, it will display the application's mobile view.

Viewing your Profile

The OneLogin Portal app provides access to the same profile options as the OneLogin browser experience: Profile, Change Password, Authentication, Browser Extension, and Recent Activity. Each works identically to the profile views on the browser experience - see the OneLogin Profile Settings help page, see below for a visual of that page.
