Residence Hall Guest WiFi Access: How do I connect to the Carthage-Open network?

Answer

Carthage-Open is the campus's unencrypted WiFi network available in the Residence Halls until Fall 2026.

Guest WiFi access in the Residence Halls:

  • Residence halls use Carthage-Secure (log in with Carthage username and password) and Carthage-Open (for guest access and non-browser-based devices) until Fall 2026.
  • Guests in the halls will need to connect to both the old and new networks, and their devices will automatically switch as they walk from one end of campus to the other
