How do I connect to Carthage-Secure on my phone, computer or tablet?

How do I connect my device (laptop, desktop, phone, tablet) to the campus network using Carthage-Secure?

Answer

All computers, tablets, phones, and devices with browsers should be connected to Carthage-Secure. Connect your device directly, as follows:

  1. Be sure your wifi is turned on
  2. From your list of Available Wireless Networks, select Carthage-Secure
  3. You will be prompted for your Carthage login and password.  (Do NOT include @carthage.edu in the username.)
  4. Click Connect.

This will connect you to the campus network AND register your device for 365 days.

If your device will not connect to Carthage-Secure (e.g. a Chromebook,) you will need to connect to Carthage-Open.
