How do I change my Carthage password via OneLogin?
Answer
Carthage utilizes a single-sign-on (SSO) solution called OneLogin. The goal is to consolidate how people authenticate into Carthage-related applications so we can manage access and promote better security practices through multi-factor authentication. The OneLogin dashboard will become a one-stop-shop allowing people easy access to all Carthage applications they are allowed to use, and people will be able to move from application to application without having to authenticate for each.
- How to set up OneLogin: Please see this webpage for instructions on how to set up OneLogin.
- Questions? Email help@carthage.edu.
1. Visit https://carthage.onelogin.com and log in using your Carthage email address and password.
2. If you've already set up OneLogin, you will receive a message to approve the log in via your chosen authentication method (likely the OneLogin Protect application).
3. Go to your device and click on the notification on your phone or open the OneLoginProtect app to allow the login.
4. Once logged in to the homepage, click on your name in the top, right corner.
5. In the drop-down menu, click on "Profile."
6. Select "Change Password."
7. Enter your CURRENT PASSWORD and NEW PASSWORD (Last changed information reflects creation and will update after your first password change).
** NOTE: You will be signed out of Gmail and potentially other applications that use the Carthage password once you submit this password change request.**
