Contacts: How do I fix a Google Contact that is displaying incorrectly?

You may forget, remove, or even edit a contact in your Google account if a name is misspelled or incorrect.
1. Click on the "Contacts" icon at the far right of your Gmail screen.
2. Click on "In this thread" if you see it in the window. It should read "Contacts."
3. Scroll down to the person you want to change and click their name.
4. Click on the pencil icon to edit their information. That will open a larger window.
5. Click on the "Edit" button. You may edit any of the fields on the screen to correct any information. Make sure you click the "Save" button at the top of the window.
6. If you want to delete the contact, first click the "X" in the upper left of the screen to close the editing screen. Then click the three dots to the left of the Edit button and select "Delete."
