Enabling the Data Analysis Toolpak in Excel for Windows
Go to the support documentation for up-to-date instructions.
- Open Excel.
- Click on the File menu.
- At the bottom of the menu that pops up, click on Options.
- In the Excel Options box that opens up, click the Add-Ins tab.
- At the bottom of the window, click the Go... button.
- Check the box next to Analysis Toolpak. Click OK.
You can access the Data Analysis Toolpak under the Data tab of Excel's Ribbon menu bar.

Go to the support documentation for up-to-date instructions.
- Open Excel and open a blank worksheet.
- Click on the Data tab of the worksheet (not the pulldown menus at the top of the screen).
- On the ribbon (Click View and check Ribbon if it is not visible), click on Data Analysis Toolpak option to enable it. Click OK.
And you're done. You can access the Data Analysis Toolpak under the Data tab of Excel's Ribbon menu bar, without re-launching Excel.
