How do I install SPSS on my Mac computer?

Downloading and Installing SPSS on a Mac
Please see this document for instructions on installation on a Windows machine.
1. Download the SPSS software via the Hedberg Library website.
2. Log in with your Carthage credentials.
3. After the package is finished downloading, click the zip file (SPSS_Statistics_mac.dmg.zip). Double-click on the installer package after it unzips to open the SPSS Installer wizard.
4. Click "Continue."
5. Click "Continue" on the Software License Agreement screen.
6. Click "Agree."
7. Select your Hard Drive icon and click "Continue."
8. Click "Install."
9. Enter the username and password for your Mac to install the software (not your Carthage credentials).
10. Once the files have been installed, double-click the SPSS Statistics icon to activate the license.
11. Click "Launch License Wizard" in the Activate IBM SPSS Statistics window.
12. Click "Next" to enter a license.
13. Click "Authorized user license" at the top of the screen. Click "Next."
14. Enter the provided code in the top box. (If you do not have the code, the library can provide it to you. Please email help@carthage.edu to request the code.) Click the "Add" button, then "Next."
15. You should then see an "Authorization succeeded" message. Click "Next."
16. You will see a "Licensing Completed" window. Click "Finish."
17. The software should open automatically after your installation. It will then live in your Applications folder, under IBM SPSS Statistics.
